Welcome Message from the Convenors
It is with pleasure and pride that we present you with details of the 8th Australian and New Zealand Adolescent Health Conference in conjunction with the 3rd IAAH Asia Pacific Congress.
As on previous occasions, young people will again have an active involvement in all aspects of the proceedings. Our Conference offers a unique opportunity, not only to hear from eminent keynote speakers, leading researchers, experienced practitioners and influential policy makers, but also to mix with people sharing interests and concerns in relation to young people, albeit from different disciplines and backgrounds.
The wide-ranging themes we have chosen enable a full and contemporary exploration of the issues and challenges facing young people and the creative solutions being sought. With the generous support of our sponsors, including State and Federal Government departments, we anticipate an event of unprecedented size, energy and exuberance.
If you are in any way connected with or concerned about the health and wellbeing of young people, you will not want to miss this important Asia Pacific Conference. We invite you to contribute to our vibrant and rapidly growing field and be part of the developing professional networks that inspire and sustain us.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney in November 2011.
