More about the community at http://StopDD.Today
We are all about raising awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. Especially the dangers of using social media while driving. Please share http://StopDD.Today with your family and friends!
Statistics: Each day about 13 people die in the United States from distracted driving. Each year, 4,000 to 6,000 people are killed and 400,000 to 600,000 people are injured because of distracted driving. Each second during daylight hours, 600,000 people are operating a motor vehicle with a mobile device in their hand. The average time spent distracted driving is 5 seconds. At 55 mph this is like driving a two to three ton vehicle while traveling the length of a football field with a blindfold on.
Join and promote the resources in this community to help raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving. Remind others that using any kind of social media while driving is distracted driving. Please share links, pictures, videos and other resources. Also please help promote #StopDD and http://StopDD.Today on social media.
