TheShow.Live (Special Edition) Live Streaming and Driving! #EndDD!

Senior Partner, Jon Mitchell “Mitch” Jackson, along with his co-host, Jennifer Hoverstad, enjoy sharing people with you who are disrupting industries, influencing change and making the world a better place.

In this episode of the popular, Mitch and Jennifer share their thoughts and concerns about distracted driving. What most people are not aware of is that distracted driving kills more than 3,000-4,000 and injuries another 400,000-600,000 people each year in the United States. At any given daylight moment across America, 660,000 drivers are using cell phones or other electronic devices while driving.

Another startling statistic about distracted driving is the fact that the average time the eyes of distracted drivers are off the road is 5 seconds. At 55 mph, this is equivalent to traveling the length of a football field blindfolded!

About Mitch

Jon Mitchell Jackson enjoys combining law, technology and social media to disrupt, hack, and improve our legal system. He has been a trial lawyer for almost three decades and is a 2013 California Litigation Lawyer of the Year (CLAY Award) and a 2009 Orange County Trial Lawyer of the Year. When he’s not trying cases, Mitch uses social media and technology to help good attorneys become great trial lawyers and to show everyone (not just lawyers) how to show their human side and communicate better on the digital platforms.

Mitch and partner, Lisa Wilson, have been practicing law and have a very long track record of making a difference and helping people since 1986. Both he and Lisa are have obtained an “AV” rating which is the highest independent rating available for ability and ethics (based in part upon the input of other lawyers and judges in the community).
